We would like to give you some elementary information considering our HOTEL FOR DOGS.

You can find us near Košice , 15 km on the way to Michalovce in a village named Svinica.

Your pet will be in “ right hands” since hotel is carried on by the veterinary doctor: MVDr. Iveta Bachňákova. She was graduated on the University of Veterinary Medicine in Košice in 1988 and is also an owner of the business.

Our hotel was founded in 2003 and is working all year around. Its philosophy is to handle small amount of animals with the aim to create a family-like home for them.

The advantage is that we are able to take individual care for every pet according to requirements of owners. Every pet has got its own privacy, and is safely placed in separate coops.

Housing for dogs (see in photo gallery)

Coops are separate, (each coop for each dog) placed in bricked building, which is heated in winter. Dog has got its bed (owners can bring baskets, to which dogs are accustomed), dish for food and water. Each dog can spend time outside the building, in a large garden with other dogs or separate in case it is safer.

Housing for cats, conies, rabbits or guinea pigs

In summer time

We use large volary under the roof for housing these kinds of pets. It enables animals contact with the rest of the world, since they can see beautiful panorama of the garden and dogs playing on green yards.

Their fur coats can be heated by sun if they want. Each animal has its own place to lie in.

In winter time

Animal is housed in separate room inside the house, where it can willingly move and communicate with family.

Instructions for housing dogs and cats

Necessary conditions are:

  1. Valid pet pass , vaccination against rabies is unconditional
  2. Collar and string, especially collar should be safe, to prevent animal to slip from it
  3. Food, which animal is accustomed to. We can arrange food, it is under the agreement with the owner. We accept dry or boiled food.

We recommend owners to bring:

  • dishes for food and water,
  • basket, cat house, small carpet or scatter rug to which animal is accustomed ,
  • favourite toy,
  • means for hair fitting and conditioning,
  • cat toilet, litter or sand for cat

HOTEL SERVICES:

  1. Housing animals (feed, walks, hair fitting)
  2. Transport of animals to the hotel and from the hotel
  3. Veterinary homeopathy services, consulting and treating animals during the stay in the hotel. ( Services are provided by MVDr. Iveta Bachňaková, who was awarded an international diploma by fy BOIRON ).
  4. Photo portraits, photo gallery from everyday life of your pet, which is full of unpredictable and funny situations. There are lots of possibilities to take interesting photos during the stay in the hotel.

PRICE LIST:

9 EUR for one night / one pet
13 EUR for one night/ two pets from one owner
Price is calculated without food.
We set individual prices in case of long term stays or for more pets from one owner.

Harmonia n.o. – non profit association with residence in Svinica is supported by a part of hotel income. The association provides services for lonely, suffering and ill people.
